Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Tropical Community and One Health undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to maintain objectivity and scientific integrity.
1. Initial Screening (Editor-in-Chief / Section Editor)

Manuscripts are first evaluated for scope alignment, originality, structure, and adherence to author guidelines.

The editor may reject submissions at this stage if they do not meet basic scientific or ethical standards.
2. Plagiarism Check

All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software.

Manuscripts containing excessive similarity or unethical content will be rejected.
3. Double-Blind Peer Review

Suitable manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent experts in the relevant field.

Reviewers evaluate the scientific quality, methodology, significance, originality, clarity, and ethical compliance of the manuscript.
4. Reviewer Decision
Reviewers will recommend one of the following:

Accept without revision

Minor revision
-
Major revision
-
Resubmit for review

Reject
5. Author Revision

Authors are required to address all reviewer comments and submit a detailed response.

Revised manuscripts may be sent back to reviewers for re-evaluation if needed.
6. Final Decision

The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on reviewer recommendations and editorial judgment.

Accepted papers proceed to copyediting and layout process before publication.
7. Publication

After final proofreading and formatting, the article is published in the next scheduled issue.
