Revenue Policy

Journal of Tropical Community and One Health is an open-access journal committed to providing immediate and free access to all published content. To sustain journal operations, the journal may generate revenue through several non-commercial and ethical sources. However, no charges are imposed on authors at the submission stage, and publication fees (APC) are communicated only after acceptance.

1. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • The journal may collect APC to cover editorial processes, peer review management, copyediting, typesetting, and digital archiving.

  • APC is requested only after the manuscript is accepted for publication.

  • Submission of manuscripts is always free of charge.

2. Institutional Support

The journal may receive funding support from:

  • Host institution (e.g., Universitas Jambi)

  • University research centers

  • Collaborating research groups or departments

This support is used for website maintenance, editorial operations, and journal development.

3. Grants and Sponsorship

The journal may apply for:

  • Government or academic grants

  • Non-profit organization support

  • Scholarly publishing development programs

All sponsorships are accepted only if they do not influence editorial decisions.

4. Advertising Policy

The journal does not accept any commercial advertising that could interfere with editorial independence, integrity, and scholarly content.

5. No Direct Revenue From Readers

The journal does not charge readers any subscription or access fees.
All published articles are freely available under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

6. Ethical and Transparent Revenue Use

All revenue generated is used solely for:

  • Peer review processes

  • Publishing quality improvement

  • Journal indexing and archiving

The journal maintains transparency and avoids any revenue model that may compromise the editorial process.
