Information for Authors
Authors interested in submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Tropical Community and One Health are encouraged to review the author guidelines carefully to ensure that submissions are prepared according to the journal’s standards. The journal accepts high-quality scientific articles that align with its focus and scope on tropical community health and the One Health approach.
1. Before Submission
Authors must ensure that manuscripts:

Are original, have not been previously published, and are not under consideration elsewhere.

Fit within the Focus and Scope of the journal.

Follow the Author Guidelines and the official journal template.

Adhere to ethical standards, including proper citation, research ethics approval, and avoidance of plagiarism.

Use appropriate reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote) following the Vancouver Superscript Style.
2. Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Journal System (OJS).
Submissions by email are not accepted.
The system requires authors to:

Create or log in to an author account

Upload the manuscript file (without author identity)

Upload a title page file (with author identity)

Enter metadata: title, abstract, keywords, affiliations, and references
-
Confirm compliance with submission requirements

4. Publication Fee (APC)

Submission Fee: 0.00 IDR

Article Processing Charge (APC): Applied only after manuscript acceptance
Authors will be notified via email regarding further processing.
5. Peer Review
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review involving at least two qualified reviewers.
Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts and must submit detailed responses to reviewer comments.
6. Copyright and License
By submitting a manuscript, authors agree that if accepted, their work will be published under the:
Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
This allows sharing and adaptation with proper attribution and the same license applied to derivative works.
7. Responsibilities of Authors
Authors must ensure:

9. Publication Ethics
The journal follows COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards.
Plagiarism, duplicate publication, falsification, or manipulation of data will result in rejection.
