Archive Policy

Journal of Nursing and Midwifery Innovation is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. The journal employs multiple archiving strategies to safeguard its scholarly materials.

1. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

This journal utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to create a distributed archiving system. PKP PN ensures that journal content remains accessible even in the event of data loss or technical failure.

2. LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

The journal participates in the LOCKSS program. LOCKSS enables libraries to preserve selected journals by regularly collecting, validating, and restoring content using distributed caching systems.

3. CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)

Through CLOCKSS, journal content is stored securely and preserved for the long term. In case of catastrophic loss, CLOCKSS guarantees that content will be made freely available to the public.

4. Institutional Repository

All published articles are deposited in the institutional repository of Universitas Jambi (or respective collaborating institutions), ensuring permanent digital preservation and academic visibility.

5. Indexing Databases

Articles archived through indexing services such as Google Scholar, Dimension, SINTA, and IPI Portal Garuda also contribute to long-term discoverability and storage.

6. Author Self-Archiving

Authors are permitted and encouraged to archive:

  • Submitted version (pre-print)

  • Accepted version (post-print)

  • Published version (PDF)

in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other platforms, provided that proper citation to the original publication is included.
